Are you unsure which waterproof shoes are right for your needs?
Gravel Lite and Tracer Lite are waterproof shoes designed for long days on hard, flat surfaces such as asphalt, concrete, and cobblestones. They perform just as well for daily errands, city weekends, and nearby trails, as well as in nature.
Both models feature a PFAS-/PFC-free HBR membrane (20,000 mm water column) combined with patented SGL technology for stability and support, along with IGNITE foam in the sole for lightweight, responsive cushioning.
Reflective elements increase visibility in the dark—without compromising the clean design.

Why choose waterproof shoes?
Waterproof shoes keep your feet dry and warm when the surface is wet. For those who walk a lot in everyday life, this means greater comfort and less friction – regardless of the weather.
Gravel Lite and Tracer Lite are designed as urban waterproof shoes: sturdy enough to handle long distances, yet lightweight enough for everyday use.

What does HBR-membrane and PFAS/PFC-free mean?
The membrane in Gravel Lite and Tracer Lite has a waterproof rating of 20,000 mm, which means it can withstand rain and mud/splashes over time. At the same time, the membrane is breathable, allowing moisture to escape from the inside. Being PFAS/PFC-free is a conscious and environmentally friendly choice, resulting in a waterproof shoe without compromising the product's performance.
Impregnation extends the lifespan
Apply waterproofing before first use, and repeat 3–4 times per season. This strengthens the waterproof properties of the materials and makes the shoes easier to keep clean. Additionally, it prolongs the life of your shoes.

SGL Technology™ – patented support
The core of Gaitline is the SGL insole technology. It was developed by Håvard Engell in Oslo, based on decades of expertise in biomechanics and injury prevention.
In short, the insole works as follows:
- • The heel is aligned properly, allowing the foot to take the correct initial position during each step.
- • The arch is targetedly supported via the arch roller, preventing the midfoot from collapsing.
- • Body weight is precisely balanced through the foot, so the forefoot doesn’t fall inward or outward.
The result is a progressive shoe, with even load distribution and less risk of misalignment and strain in the knees, hips, and lower back — especially important when walking and standing for long periods on hard, flat surfaces.
Designed for everyday use – not for record-breaking speeds
Gaitline is made for weekdays, work, commuting, city trips, and concerts — all the hours you spend walking and standing. The longer you wear the shoes, usually up to 12 hours straight, the more noticeable the benefits.

What our customers say
Great, supportive, and lightweight hiking shoes with excellent cushioning. Highly recommended!
Gaitline shoes have always been very good, but this pair is absolutely fantastic. Perfect for long hikes in the countryside and urban areas. Light and comfortable!
I have been using Gaitline shoes for 6 years, and I’ve never been disappointed. Nor am I now! I’m thoroughly satisfied with my Gravel Lite WP. They may feel tight the first time you put them on, but after a few hours, they mold perfectly to your foot.
